Vertical Expansion
This project completed the ten story Medical/Surgery tower of NSH Forsyth. Completed in multiple projects, two floors at a time, over a 20 year span.
The community has been a big part of the hospital’s history, even before Northside purchased it in 2000 and we immediately began planning for the future. Multiple master plan updates have occurred over the years, yet the core vision is being realized with the current project topping out the Medical Surgical Tower to ten stories.
Design of the exterior is built upon the clean vertical and horizontal line and planes that are part of the existing architecture that has been timeless in its modern appeal. As the demographics have changed in the area the interior architecture has as well which began with building the Northside signature branding of the Women’s Center in 2007. Design elements strike a contemporary aesthetic tone to create a spa-like environment to evoke a comfortable and calming atmosphere for patients and family.
