NSH Atlanta - Snellville MOB & Retail
The Northside Hospital Snellville MOB + Retail site development is a unique foray for the Northside brand within its network. Both visually and contextually, the pair of buildings was designed to not only act as an extension of the Northside vision, but to also integrate into a new market area of Snellville, which continues a boom of growth in the area. The site is located adjacent to the Grove Development which will include shops, restaurants, condos, and a municipal library. The design aesthetic embraces the historic significance of the area and elevates it through traditional healthcare forms and aesthetic dialogue.
The final design of the facilities took several evolutions to get to the final approved version. This process was one which involved everyone within the Northside System, as well as Realty Trust Group as their partnering project management team.
Lastly, the design was continuously monitored alongside the CM (Hodges + Hicks) as they were brought on during schematic design to evaluate decisions made regarding price, schedule, and quality to maintain the critical components of the project.
